Although the role of hard copy banking orders is gradually diminishing with the growing popularity of electronic banking, they will stay with us for a long time. Since bank customers submit such orders in branches, these documents must either be processed on site or transferred to a central location. The second option is to move orders to a central site and process them centrally. With the advanced technical solutions at our disposal today there is no need to move physical orders. It is sufficient if the branch staff scan the orders, make digital images of them, and then send only the images to the processing centre via a system ensuring error-free data transmission. Since forint payment orders have a standard format (PF1/B), which is suitable for OCR/ICR processing, certain parts of the order recording can also be done using computer software.
A closed processing chain, no certificate is lost.
All order details sent to the account management system are checked. They are also verified by the customer, if necessary.
The system allows optimal work distribution between branches and the Back Office. For example, customer-related data can be verified by either the branch where the order was submitted or the customer relationship manager associated with the customer who submitted the order.
Support for complaints handling. Users with appropriate level rights can access the original order images and their processing history details from either the branch or the Call Centre.
The connection between the CRAFT system and the other systems of the bank can be easily implemented, so users can carry out as detailed checks as possible at each order processing step.
